Founder ā€“ Therapeutic Melodies

JuliaĀ is the founder of Therapeutic Melodies. She completed her undergraduate work in music therapy at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO in 2013. Ā She finished her internship at NeuroRhythm in Colorado Springs and afterwards received her Bachelorā€™s of Music in Music Therapy degree in 2014. After she received her degree she passed the national board certification exam and began Therapeutic Melodies soon after in 2014. She has experience with multiple populations and diagnoses. These include children with a wide range of developmental disabilities in a clinical, school, and care-taking setting, older adults in a nursing home, adults in substance abuse recovery, adults with mental health needs, and children in a school and clinical setting who have experienced trauma. Julia loves serving and helping others. Her main instrument is her voice and she is proficient in guitar, piano, and ukulele. She has taught music lessons and given music therapy for 10 years. She is fully dedicated to her clients and seeks to help them reach their full potential through the vessel of music.
